EVELIN – The Project

Six german universities from the Bavarian state have joined together in the project EVELIN (*)  with the approach of a further development and sustainable improvement of software engineering education in higher education.

The EVELIN project contributes specifically to the student’s preparation for the demands of the daily working life in software engineering. EVELIN investigates in didactical methods for an optimal placement of the required competencies and refine these methods to target groups and demands.

With the help of EVELIN, the involved universities offer an individual, competence oriented computer science education at a high level.

(*) EVELIN is an abbreviation for “Experimentelle Verbesserung des Lernens von Software Engineering” which means “Experimental improvement of learning software engineering” in english.
